Focal has its headquarters in Saint Etienne, France, the heart of precision engineering in Europe. Focal is now internationally recognized as a world leader in the design and manufacture of specialist drive units for hi-fi loudspeakers. Focal is also pre-eminent in the creation of highly advanced, complete hi-fi loudspeaker enclosures priced from $750.00 per pair to $269,000.00 per pair.

Focal are also world leaders in drive-units for car audio and pro-audio.
The key Focal  company strength is its complete integration and quality control of the entire loudspeaker manufacturing process. From the design of drive units, cabinets and crossovers, to the assembly of the finished product. Focal maintains an intense, continual programme of research and development into drive –unit and loudspeaker technologies. Five patents have been registered since 2003 and Focal have the largest number of loudspeaker technology patents worldwide.

Focal currently employs over 200 people in a modern 12,500m2 facility which concentrates R&D, production and management in the same site.
