Take your music outdoors

Summer in Perth. Is there anything better? Once it rolls around we’ll be spending more of our free time outside, entertaining and enjoying the great lifestyle that the warmer weather brings.

Part of the summer experience is backyard bbq’s and entertaining with family and friends, so being able to set the mood with the perfect Spotify playlist, catch all the action of a summer of cricket, or host a Hottest 100 party requires some decent outdoor audio. Thankfully, we have a large range of options to recommend.

Our large wireless speaker options can be moved inside when you’re not entertaining. These generally require access to a power point and need to remain inside your WiFi range to be effective. The advantage of these types of speakers is that they require no installation and give you the flexibility to move them around depending on where you’re entertaining. The disadvantage is obviously finding a suitable place for them outside that has power available. And being a single speaker they won’t provide the coverage that a pair of stereo speakers can.

We also have a large range of fixed outdoor speakers which need to be connected to either the second zone on your A/V receiver or onto a zone amplifier like the HEOS Amp. This solution provides you with a permanent set of weatherproof outdoor speakers mounted in your alfresco area or garden with the electronics located inside. Control of them is easily handled via a smartphone or tablet. These speakers can either be wall mounted, installed in the ceiling or even hidden in the garden. While there are a large variety of different sizes and shapes which offer plenty of flexibility, on installation they still require a little more work running cables and getting them set up correctly.
