Over the last 10 years, we have seen some amazing technological advances in home cinema. From low resolution composite video to HDMI Ultra HD, from VCR to the new Ultra HD Blurays and streaming, we have been spoilt with vision advances. Home cinema audio apart from a few new HD formats unfortunately has sat a little dormant. Two years ago, we launched our Dolby Atmos design service and pro installation, which has brought a 3 dimensional sound field into our customers homes and made cinema sound exciting again. However in many of our cinema installations, the Ultra HD image still seemed to be stealing the show…
That was until now. Introducing the Krix MX wall of sound modular speaker systems. Based on the same technology and principles of over 3000 cinema complexes around the globe, Mr Scott Krix has now made it possible to experience that Real Cinema sound in your home. Placed behind either micro-perforated or woven acoustically transparent screens, the impact of these speakers punching huge cinema sound and bass through the image is a whole new ball game for home cinema entertainment. There are 2 models available. Mx-20 for rooms approx 5m X 3.5m and above and the all conquering MX-30 for rooms 6m X 5m and above.
Below are images of our recent installation of an MX-30 wall of sound and also of our Midland showroom. We will be installing the MX-20 version at our Cannington showroom very soon (May 2016). This will make it convenient for those choosing between the 2 versions to audition at each showroom.
Once you have decided which system suits your room and budget, our Dolby Atmos trained staff will 3D sketch your room and organise professional installation of your entire cinema. This will include everything, including cabinetry, stages, recliners, acoustic treatment and star ceiling. And best of all controlled from an iPad or tablet to make it super easy to drive.
